The agreement

These terms cover your use of shandsdigital.com, run by Shands Digital Corp, 3804 Pebble Creek Rd, Midlothian, VA 23112. A later written scope that you approve controls if it conflicts with this page.

A visit is not a job

A call, an email, or a look at a revision is a request. It is not a contract. Work starts when you approve a written scope and pay the invoice we send. You pay on Stripe's page. You do not type a card on this site.

Prices

The prices on the homepage are the published schedule. One page, Compliance, Small site, Medium site, and Large site are the website only. Small site with Mira Starter, Medium site with Mira Growth, and Large site with Mira Pro add Content by Mira, a separate studio that writes the social posts and the short videos. A person at Mira checks each one before it is published. You do not give Mira your social passwords. The $150 Mira start fee is already inside those three setup prices. A year of website care paid ahead does not include Mira. None of these prices is a quote for your site until Omar confirms the number in writing. A price can change before you approve. It does not change after you have approved that scope and we have sent the invoice for it.

What you own

You keep the words, photographs, and marks you give us. After the setup invoice is paid, you own the finished pages we built for you. Shands keeps its own tools, process, and any design that was ours before the job. A signed scope can say otherwise, and that writing controls.

What we do not promise

We will do the work in the scope with ordinary professional care. We do not promise a search ranking, a sales number, or that the site will never have an error. The public site is provided as it stands.

Use of the site

Do not break the site, probe it, scrape it in a way that degrades it, or use it to send unlawful mail. We may suspend access that does that.

Mail

If we email you about a job, the message names Shands Digital Corp, includes the Midlothian postal address, and tells you how to stop. Write omar@shandsdigital.com with the word stop, and we will stop that kind of mail. This is how we meet the CAN-SPAM Act.

Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, our liability for use of this public site is limited to the amount you paid us for that use in the prior twelve months. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss. Some states do not allow a limit like this, and in those states the limit applies only as far as it may.

Virginia law governs these terms. A dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia. This is not a waiver of a right a consumer statute keeps for you.
