The standard

Shands Digital Corp aims for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, level AA. That is the bar we use on this site and on a client site we launch. We do not claim that every page is already perfect.

What is in place

The public site has a skip link, visible labels on the sign-in form, a text alternative on photographs, captions on the hero film, and a way to play that film without motion if your browser asks for reduced motion. Buttons and links meet a minimum size. The cookie choice is not pre-checked. Color contrast is set for text on the paper background.

If something blocks you

Write omar@shandsdigital.com or call 804.690-7258. Name the page address and what failed. A person will answer and will try to give you the same information another way while the page is fixed.

We aim to reply within five business days. If the fix takes longer, we will say so.
